I went to TJ Max to find a fabulous bracelet that I saw on a friend. Sadly the bracelet was not there but I found these great Kate Spade Shoes. One pair is a gold/silver fine suede. The other is black faux crock. The picture does not do them justice. At $99 they are not as cheap as I would like but they are so classic that I plan to enjoy them for many years.
Meet the newest member of the Pears + Bears team....Olivia. With all of her older siblings in school Olivia is spending a lot of time at her mommy's office. So we decided to put her to work. I am looking for a neutral fall bag. Something that would look good with brown suede shoes or boots. The first one is the Owen bag that I am kicking myself for not getting last year. The other two are this years J Crew that I like but don't love. I haven't seen them in person. I am not a big shopper so if you have any ideas...please let me know.
My children are 4,6,8,10,12,14 and 16. Our dog is 2 so as you might imagine this summer we got a new puppy. Jack is pictured above and the next two photos are Lilly. They are very loved white labs. If you are looking for a new dog these are as sweet as can be. We got them from Bainbridge Labs.
I love all things vintage. Here I am at my 3rd birthday party and yes I am old enough that it counts as vintage. I love this vintage pin the tail on the donkey perfect for an easy old fashion party. And the perfect gift for a little girl.....paper dolls. For the next few days if you get them both from my web site we will ship them to you for free. Just enter the code HAPPYBIRTHDAY at check out.
I have always loved clock faces. Old ones from Paris or 50's school clocks...I love them all. Some day I would love to have a wall full of them. The above images are from melody maison and the knobs from the beautiful life.
I am finding my self in love with the color turquoise as of late. A few weeks ago we painted our dining room a blueish version. At the moment I am trying to finish up my girls room which is a pale greener version. I am on the hunt for a turquoise lamp (please let me know if anyone has any ideas).
I often seem to find (and fall in love with) the things that I don't need. Like these beautiful vases by Red Hot Pottery. Her things are amazing!
I am finishing up the bedroom that is shared by my two oldest girls. The curtains are a beautiful shade of turquoise and off white. The walls and floors are painted white. The ceiling and beds are turquoise. I would like to add another color, probable hot pink or yellow. I love these two pillows from Roberta Roller Rabbit.
I love Tribeca. My husband and I almost bought a loft down there 18 years ago. But then life brought us to the south. I love Nashville but miss NY, especially when I see fabulous places like moomah. I love everything, particularly the school chairs and the way they hung the children's art. Thanks design sponge for making me pine for Tribeca. Nothing this cool was there 18 years ago but we knew it would be.
I finally went into the Billy Reid store. I love it and so did my husband. The web site doesn't do it justice. My favorite piece is this ruffled shirt which came in a fabulous array of fabrics in the store. This was the only version on the web. I am hoping that my hubby reads this blog and picks one up for my brithday.
