I love to make whole wheat bread. This is what the wheat berries look like before I grind them into flour. As soon as they hear the noisy grinder the helpers flock to the kitchen.
A few hours later I take 5 of these out of the oven. Covered with butter and a little jam it is one of my favorite things to eat.
Making bread (along w/canning) is on my list of things I want to try to do!! Love that you do that - your kids will always have fond memories of making/eating homemade bread! Great pictures!
Yours is the 2nd blog I have visited in as many days where there has been bread baking going on. I tell you, I can almost smell it !!!
