fun friday giveaway

One of the things that I love about blogging is all of the fun creative people I have "met" along the way. One of my favorites is Lauren from Pure Style Home. If you don't already read her blog please head on over. She has a great sense of style, can create on a budget and I love her honesty that comes through her blog.

When I saw her new picture on her blog I was so excited because she is wearing our necklace.

Now one of my lucky readers can have one too.

    i have actually been wanting to talk to you about your dresses. i love the basic chambray one. well, really i love them all but i think the basic shirtdress is really ME!

    i wanted to ask if you would ever make a 3/4 sleeve basic black dress (or any color really) something that is sorta mad men style. i have looked high and low for one for about 2-3 years. it seems like it's your style too.

    I LOVE that necklace!!! As for my favorite dress - the one I own, the Aston Dress - which would look FAB-U-LOUS with the necklace!! It is the softess cordoroy I've ever worn. I also would love the Gigi dress in red for Xmas... and maybe one of the belted shirt dresses...

    i love the gigi dress. it is "flowy" and feminine, but still tailored enough to really flatter. I like to stand out in this houseful of boys, at least some of the time!

    My favorite dress from your winter collection is the long sleve ruffle shirt dress in red. Absolutely love it! My husband and I just got married last year and we are hosting our first thanksgiving, and my plan is to wear that dress. I am going to order it soon. I already bought mike a shirt that will coordinate with it!

    Loving the Ellen dress for it's long sleeves and open neckline.
    This summer in Nashville I spotted a little girl in an adorable dress ( very basic and vintagy like something like I would have worn late 60s/early 70s) -- spoke to her mother and learned it was a Pears and Bears.

    What can I say that every one else hasn't already said??? I read Lauren's blog everyday, sometimes twice a day going back and looking at old post. When I saw the dress she wore to Justin's baptism- I instantly fell in love with it. It is on my "have to have it" list for the spring (it is already getting cold here, and I was in the middle of a move when I first saw it). Kayce you are amazingly talented, and I love the simple lines of your design. Who would have thought wooden beads would become so trendy-but they are just BEAUTIFULY simple. I love them!     I'm starting a part-time desk job tomorrow and I would love to have the basic shirt dress! It would be perfect for work.

    And I can't tell you how I have been longing for wooden beads! I wear a lot of navy and white in the summer and I once saw some on someone and thought they would be perfect with my summer outfits. I haven't found the right ones until now!

    I have been a huge fan of Pure Home Style for about a year. Love all of her ideas and the simplistic style she delivers to her blog fans.

    I love the ruffle shirt dress. The turquoise color is great.

    I would love to win the wooden beads. They would be one of those classic forever pieces of jewelry.
