Here are some shots that I took of my friend Tracy's house.  Tracy is an O.T. by day but I think she has a fabulous eye for interiors.  Her home is so wonderful and inviting.  I love how she mixes modern, industrial and very vintage.  I will show you some more tomorrow.

We had a blast at my friend Tracy's house shooting the fall women's line. Tracy is so creative and I love her home. I took loads of pictures to share with you but you will have to wait till tomorrow. It is past my bedtime.

I have been on the hunt for a bureau to turn into a vanity.  I have found nothing.  In case you are on the hunt for a beautiful patio table or a bamboo dining room table and chairs I found them for you at Habitat.  Both sets cost $180.

green thumb

One day I will have a green thumb.  But until then I will enjoy the easiest of plants.  I love my pots of Hens and chicks.  I got them last year and left them on our patio all winter.  They are so hardy and I love to watch them multiply.

New office progress...

Decorating our new office makes me feel like a kid in a candy shop. I am having so much fun that it is hard to sleep at night. I thought that I would share some of the progress.

Here is the powder room. I bought the tiny chandelier years ago at Habitat Thrift store for $10. I am still on the hunt for a sink. (we are moving in a week from today so I need to hurry)


We painted the ceiling hot pink!


The walls are pale pink.


Scott and I have been working hard but sometimes you need to hire a professional painter. We found the nicest guy. He did an excellent job and was very inexpensive.


And I am not just saying that because I am his mother!
Lots of crown moulding to paint tonight and I need to get started stenciling the powder room.

date night

For at least 10 years I have gone on a date (with my husband) every Saturday night.  We almost always go to Caffe Nonna.  Tonight after Nona we headed to Ovvio for a wonderful show of works by Victor Schmidt.  He is a very talented Nashville artist.  I especially enjoy the last one called "the key".

I can not believe that my baby is 5 years old today!   Time seems to go faster with each passing year.  Here she is modeling over the years for her favorite designer.....mom.  (She signed an exclusive contract)

road trip

I am thinking about a road trip to IKEA.  My daughter is in love with the Malm Bed.  Of course I would have to pick up some other goodies as well.  All of the above are under $6.

nine by design

I am so sad that nine by design is over.  Now I can return to never watching TV.  I do hope they return.
