favorite reads

While away I got to do lots of reading. These three were my favorites.


Have you read any of these? Did you love them as much as I did? I am hoping to go through some of our vacation photos soon.

  1. "the help"...maybe my fave fiction book ever. missed those characters terribly when i finished the book.
    actually, maybe i'll just read it again this spring

  6. I really want to read Freakecomics. I just finished Water for Elephants..not my favorite. I am starting on the Pioneer Woman, Black Heels to Tractor Wheels tonight.

  7. I loved The Help too. For a heavier novel try Cutting For Stone - It was one of my favorites!

  8. I loved "The Help," think I heard about the second one and my husband loves the Freakonomics book - it's on my list. Hope you had a great vacay!

  9. The Help was the best book of last year! Also loved freakanomics and superfreakonomics. Lots to think about!

I am working on the memoir-- it seems to be "written down" The Glass Castle is much better-- Have read the other two, both very good in their own way, BUT African Americans I read have a problem with the savior white lady-- so I had another duh moment- same as Maniac Magee-- loved Freakonomics--
