fast food

Some days I don't have the time or energy to make a fabulous lunch. (I have never like traditional fast food.) My new favorite thing to eat on the go are these packages of nuts and dried fruit from Trader Joe's.
Some of my kids love them too. How about you? Do you have a Trader Joe's? If so what do you love to get there?

    I love the nut mixes too! Also, the frozen baked rice snacks (yaki onigiri) and the frozen pastry bites with feta cheese and caramelized onions are amazing!

    We buy almost all of our groceries at Trader Joes. So much to love there!!
    Their fruit and nuts are great...plus the prices are so good too.

    My shopping list for trader joes: Cliff bars, pizza dough, basil spaghetti sauce, whole wheat bread, almonds & flowers every week!

    what DON'T I get at Trader Joe's is the better question! I love their prices on nuts, cheeses, condiments, and their frozen food is the best! I love buying the frozen cubes of garlic and basil, and my newest favorite is the vegetable masala burgers...to die for. I promise this isn't a paid advertisement!

    my TJ list: "everything" bagels, tuscan bread, frozen mixed berries (with cherries!), Fage yogurt (great price), frozen brown rice (already cooked...great time saver), and sometimes I get the black licorice "scotty dogs"...yum

    Hard not to love Trader Joe's... we buy yogurts, crumpets, nuts, dried fruits, too. But no, I don't know of any undiscovered gems in the Trader Joe's treasure trove :)

    We don't have anything as cool as Trader Joe's but that is my favorite snack...almonds, raisins, cranberries...all mixed up.

    I like Trader Joe's for its "smallness." It's such a nice change from big box grocery stores. I also like that the store has a free sample counter...my kids love it (and so do I)!

    We like to buy the zucchini bread at Trader Joe's. We slice it up, smear it with cream cheese, and at it as a snack.

    Trader Joe's has the best pumpkin bread mix, which I use for pumpkin muffins my kids love. The mix seems to only be offered in the fall, around Thanksgiving. I stock up! I also love their 'sauce' aisle, and they have really great, inexpensive dried bing cherries.
