Six months ago our home was photographed for Country Living. And now it is on the news stands. I am hopeful that it brings some extra awareness for Kayce Hughes/Pears and Bears. (It seems to be doing wonders for my 16 year olds facebook. I guess those 16 year old girl readers of Country Living thing he is pretty cute).
A huge thanks to writer Beth Ann Fennelly, photographer Bjorn Wallander, stylist Natasha Louise King and every one at Country Living for making me look a little better than I really am.
See if you can guess what items were added from the stylist.

I saw your house in Country Living and fell in love. Seriously, I loved the color (esp. the green in your family room). I immediately looked you up and found your blog and your shop. Your home, family, and designs are so beautiful! And, I couldn't resist- I had to purchase the 'horn cuff' from your store!
I will pick up the magazine at the market tomorrow. The photos look great. Don't know how you do it all. You family is beautiful. Hope to meet you one day.

So fun! Need to go grab the magazine!
I just picked up Country Living today at the market and as I was looking at it I stumbled across the article on your family. Your kids are gorgeous as is your home! I googled you and here I am. Love your shop- and esp. loved seeing a peek into your home in CL! Wish I could be that comfortable with spray paint (!) everything you did looks awesome! Blessings.
I actually "discovered" your blog after I saw the article in CL. :) Love your family style. And I found myself wondering "hmmm? wonder which little touches the stylists put in these pictures?" What a colorful and happy place you have created. I was inspired to get out the raspberry and citrus spray paints and add a little bit of color to my home.

hey- finally picked it up this weekend! You and the kids look great! My guess for non-Kayce items..anything that was was 'sourced' (pottery barn pillows, polka dot blanket, etc...)
