real life

I thought it might be fun to see the difference between real life....this is how my porch usually looks ...

and magazine life..this is how it was styled by Natasha Lousis King and shot by Bjorn Wallander for Country Living.

Looks much better cropped in with that pro lighting and I really want those birch logs.  Does anyone know where to get those?

Amazing what a good stylist can do. Magic right?

Birch logs. Hmmm. Go to your most hip florist in town and they can get them for you... and then you will never burn them. Probably not.

First can I just say that I've been a "follower" of yours even before there was such a thing as blogging! I have an old CHILD magazine with your family featured in it and then recently saw you again in Country Living...you have a beautiful family, home and designs...I recently blogged about how I just LOVE the names of your children...so happy to have found you!

I loved the article in CL about your home and family. I have 5 kids and we are out growing the kitchen table. In the mag it looks like you have a large round table. How big is it and do you all fit?
Thanks
