The Young Victoria

I hope that everyone had a great week end. We rented The Young Victoria and loved it.
Emily Blunt was as beautiful as her dresses.
I am a sucker for a sweet love story.
I would love to read more about Victoria and Albert, any recommendations?

Loved it too. So intruguing to see the younger fresher side of a woman who is mostly depicted as grumpy and dour.

Ohhh have you ever seen the movie Lady Jane? It's pretty old (mid 80s?) ....It starts a fresh new Helena Bonham Carter (before she was known) and Cary Elwes (from Princess Bride...back when he was darling)....It's the true story of Lady Jane Grey and how she became queen for less than a month. They had an arranged marriage but they fell in love. I just LOVED the movie when it came out. I have no idea if you can get this on Netflix or anything, but it's so worth it if you can. Plus you learn a lot of history. : )

I love that movie...I think I missed much of the dialogue because I was so enraptured with the costumes.
