I am loving these baskets from the container store. Or is it the dream of being organized that I love? I think both.

This week I stopped into a wonderful store here called Plucky. It was full of some beautiful dresses by Eva Franco.



I love how classic yet playful the clothes are. If you find yourself needing one of these beauties just call Elizabeth or any of the wonderful ladies at Plucky.

kindergarden reading

On vacation I enjoyed reading these three books.

Now that we are home most of my reading is more on the Kindergarten level. I will say that I am in love with this book. The illustrations are great and I love that my little one can read it and it has a cute story.

If anyone reading is in charge of school calendars can I request that they make the first week back from Spring Break a four day week? Just sayin.

We get to work with lots of wonderful women who host shows around the US where we don't have a store.

I was delighted this week to see how this hostess styled and modeled our clothes.





I love how she goes for it and always seems to have fun getting dressed. You can see more fun on her blog queen city style.

With a family full of creatives we managed to take over 6000 photos on one vacation. Needless to say I have not had a chance to go through all of them but I wanted to share a few with you.

the Vintage Designer

It was such a treat to return from vacation to find that Anthony's video was ready to share with you! I would love to know what you think. I think that you will agree that Anthony is super talented. He is also a good guy and fun to work with. If you need help with branding, photography or video I would highly recommend him.

on vacation

After a wonderful day in Palm Beach we are off to the Bahamas! (Olivia's glasses are from Gap, flip flops Old Navy and knit dress from Kayce Hughes.)
We will be totally unplugged. I hope that you all have a wonderful week and I am looking forward to sharing lots of photos with you when we return.

spring hats

One week until we are on our way to the Bahamas! The sun can be brutal so I ordered these hats from Old Navy. This style for my little girls. (I am planning on changing out the black ribbon for red)
And this style for me.
Hopefully no one will get burned. Keeping sunblock on everyone when they are constantly in the water is not an easy job. But it is one that I am beyond excited to do!

spring clothing

A week from Friday we will be on Spring Break. I am so excited but I am trying to get a lot done before we leave. It is the shopping and packing for my youngest four that is the hardest. (Most of last springs clothes are too small or too gross to wear.) Of course they will be picking out a few things from my line as well as a bunch from Old Navy.

DIY love

I love the look of a bunting and I am crazy about vintage looking florals that look like they came from an eccentric grandmother's powder room. When I found them put together on heart handmade I had to share them with you.
This just makes me happy! I hope that you are all having a fabulous start to your week.

daydreaming

I am back from a photo shoot that was a blast but exhausting. So with my feet up I decided to do some day dreaming via 1st Dibs.
This beautiful bracelet is always in my dreams. My mother has worn one as long as I can remember and one day when I make it big time I will be buying one of these.

And if you give a girl a Seaman Schepps wood and gold bracelet ..... she will need a vintage men's gold watch to go with it....
Here my dreams are a bit fuzzy. Is it a gold band?
Or a leather band?
Either way it was a very good dream.

We are getting ready for some bad weather this afternoon. The kids are getting out of school early and Scott is grabbing ingredients for chili and corn bread.
