Out of Africa

I remember loving Out of Africa when it came out years ago but had forgotten most of the story. We rented it the other night and I was not disappointed.
The Sydney Pollack film starring Meryl Streep and Robert Redford is a feast for the eyes.
It is going on my list of all time favorites.
How about you? What are some of your "not THAT old" favorites.

Out of Africa is one of my favorites too. Meryl as always is fantastic.
I am really enjoying rewatching all of my favorites with the kids...they fell in love with Barbra Streisand in The Way We Were. They loved Robert Redford in Out of Africa, Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid, and The Sting.
Have a great weekend!!

That is one of my all time Favorites along with the English Patient.

One my husband and I loved was Babette's Feast! I love quirky...

So with that being said I also loved a controversial one called, War of the Buttons.

A not too old favorite for me is P.S. I Love You. I also LOVE Leap Year & The Notebook! My grandma had Alzheimer's & so I'm always worried that it could be part of my future, especially given that I have a terrible memory & it comforts me; I have made my husband promise to write our story & read it to me, every day...
