hand-me-downs

I thought it would be fun to share this photo because of the blazer.
I am in love with the fit. It is 3/4 sleeve which shows off the sleeves of my ruffle blouse.
It belonged to my little brother who wore it to school over 20 years ago. After he outgrew it my mother passed it down to her friend with a younger son. After her boys wore it she boxed it up along with other children's clothes and sent it to me.
So if you are looking for a blazer don't forget the boy's department. And don't forget to pass on some of your kids clothes ... you could make someones day.

Kayce,
You look fabulous!!! I can't wait until my 11 year old son and I can wear the same size clothes. And I just bought the cutest navy and white checked shirt at Target in the boy's dept..it is perfect!!

You are a riot! Didn't Billings wear a jacket like that in her yearbook page photo with her slide necklace? Yes, I do have somewhat of a crazy photographic memory...!

I love the college boy look gone trendy! I just pulled out an old corduroy blazer with suede patches on the elbows. Thanks for the inspiration.

LOVE it!!
My mother still wears some L.L. Bean moccasins that I wore in 7th grade. Should I ask for them back?
Personally I like my grandmother's hand-me-downs. Haven't thought of sharing with my boys, but will give it a go!
