The best part of waking up

I have to enjoy my breakfast. No rushing and no cereal. I love a bowl in the evening but in the morning I love tea or coffee with a yummy carb.

Mondays are pancake day, whole wheat pancakes and English breakfast tea. We grind our own wheat but this should work with store bought.
3 c flour
1T baking soda
2 1/2 T baking powder
1/3 oil
8 eggs
buttermilk till it looks right

Easily my favourite meal of the day! Love scrambled eggs (made properly with cream) on toast and a cup of EBT (must be Twinings) . I often have muesli with yoghourt after dinner if I am craving something sweet! Pancakes look delicious!

i usually have coffee and toast or... who knows.. i wish i were hungry earlier in the day... but i did have fresh blueberry pancakes the other day and i must say... pure heaven... and a bowl of cereal for dinner? love it. xx

we are such a cereal group, but I don't mind some oatmeal, or pancakes. I think I will try this out! I am going to try to wean my kids off the cereal. might be tough going though!

i love yogurt w/ a little ground flax seed, walnuts, and blueberries. but what i REALLY love is eggs benedict. and of course, coffee! i save a cup of tea for night time.
