Valentine's Lunch

My friend Gen had a little Valentine's Lunch.  It was such a treat on this cold and cloudy day.  She always sets a fun table and I especially loved these vintage paper napkins.

Melodie made these beautiful watercolor notes for each of us along with heart ramekins and petit fours from a bakery.

I am so thankful for wonderful female friendships.

paint it

Do you ever feel like you might go nuts if you don't make something with your hands? I found these on pinterest today and I wish I could pick one up right now. I am not sure that I am steady enough to do my walls but some forgiving wrapping paper might be in my near future. You can check out some more patterns at the painted house.
How about you... Have you made anything lately?

vintage fridays

I love Fridays when I can fit in a garage sale. Here are some of today's treasures...

There were lots of fabric swatches so these came home as inspiration for future lines.

It was also a treat to bump into Kathy from My Interior Life.  She had blogged about some couches on Wednesday that I ran out and bought on Thursday so it was nice to get to say thanks in person.

I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend!

vintage friday lusterware

With everyone home I was not expecting to get to do a "vintage Friday" post. I was pleasantly surprised to pass a garage sale this morning after picking up Sophie from ballet.  I couldn't resist these lusterware dishes.
I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend!
