I am in search of some casual flatware. I love the look of bamboo but I am wondering if they are truely diswasher safe. The first is from world market and the second is from wilderview.
I like that darker pair -- sorta Ralph Lauren looking, n'est-ce pas?
I see that you go to World Market, and earlier when I was answering your question about kitchen chairs, I was going to tell you to check out their chairs. Of course you may want something more name brand and reliable. But I always end up finding fun stuff (in general) at World Market. : )
Ever been to Z Gallerie? It's full of a lot of things I don't like, but it always has some treasures in there as well.
Okay, I have to admit I'm sorta embarrassed that *I* may be the one actually encouraging you to go to (whispering) Walmart..(lol) but I'm telling you, sometimes they have stuff that just surprises you. (plus the one I go to is new and clean and actually very pleasant!) Like this is the silliest smallest thing, but for a year I was trying to find a Bandaid brand box of (duh) bandaids that wasn't made of paper, but made of the old tin that I had from childhood (remember those?) and guess where I finally found one? Walmart! I wish I had bought more than one b/c I haven't seen them there in awhile.
Anyway, you get the picture. It's the little things. Oh yes, and if you read my Walmart post from a few weeks back, that big plastic Santa Claus that I find sooooooo retro/vintage looking in it's plastic tacky splendor....well I got one of those the other day. I love it! And it has a plug and lights up. I'm telling you, my 2 1/2 year old will LOVE it.
I am the mother of 7 wonderful children and the wife of one lucky man...Scott. I am also the owner and designer of a line of women's and children's clothing.
