wishing I was a medium

My good friend Melodie is having a 1/2 off sale and free shipping if you mention her blog.  That means that this fabulous jacket can arrive on your doorstep for $22.  She will even gift wrap it for free.  It doesn't get any better than that.  If I didn't already have a closet full of things that I am going to get altered (as soon as I have free time) this baby would be mine.  Perhaps I should go try it on...never mind please don't buy it.   

what matters

One of my favorite teachers likes to say "Life is hard but God is faithful".  I know that when I am stressed I often miss the most important of life's blessings,  all of the tiny moments that add up to a lifetime.  To all of my friends out there who are struggling, (whether physical, financial or emotional) ... hang in there.

My sweet 4 year old drew this today.  One of my wonderful tiny moments.  As you can see it is a picture of the two of us.  Yes I am actually wearing a royal blue dress today.

I am loving these earrings from J. Crew.  I just got my hair chopped off and with these beauties no one would mistake me for a he.

shell love..

I am loving this shell box from First Dibbs.  But I am thinking that $2985 is a little pricy.  I will be scouting salvation for boxes and will let you know if I attempt my own.  This one is 20 inches long which would look perfect in my dining room.  I may be getting a little carried away with shells in my landlocked home.  Feel free to do an intervention.
