I am very excited to launch our new teen line today!  It seems like yesterday that 2 of the girls in these photos were babies modeling day gowns.

Well not exactly vintage..this girls dress was in last Spring's line. A customer sent me this photo and it was too cute not to share.

The other day I was painting some little cards for a friend. I was enjoying the relaxing process and feeling good about my little creations. Then Olivia who just turned 8 decided to give it a try...

The Atlanta store is open but I still have a lot of details to finish. I decided to use vintage knobs as hooks for the dressing rooms and had fun perusing Etsy for fabulous knobs.  These are some that I loved but didn't end up getting....

I don't know that I have ever been so excited for Spring to be here. It seems like the sunshine has been hiding lately.

In spite of the rain we had a wonderful "Grand Opening" party in our Nashville store today.  (I will try to share some pictures tomorrow.)  I am planning on getting to bed early and dreaming of pink paper butterflies and sunshine.

crochet blanket

There is something about this time of year that makes me want to find my old knitting needles.  Fortunately my daughter is working on a scarf and lets me do a row or two now and then.

This beautiful blanket is making me wish that I knew how to crochet.  Actually the purl bee makes me want to do nothing but sit by the fire and knit or crochet.

I am seriously craving a project.
