Diana Vreeland

This weekend I saw The Eye has to Travel about Vogue editor Diana Vreeland.  It was inspiring and entertaining.  I loved seeing it on the big screen but I look forward to watching it again so that I can pause and linger over some of the fabulous photo spreads.

MBA Crew

Our Saturday was very full. Two soccer games, ballet, a Nutcracker parent meeting, a regatta and Home coming.  I wanted to be at all of it (well maybe not the Nutcracker parent meeting because it is about my 10th year) but we had to divide and conquer.

Owen's first regatta was the event I had to miss.  Knowing that Scott would be there with his camera made it a little easier.  Owen is a Junior School rower and a coxswain for the High School.

birthday party

My Sophie turned 15 and her sweet friends threw her a surprise party. They dressed up in fun vintage outfits and Scott captured it on film.  I love this one will all of them in a row.

Sunday morning we were treated to some beautiful snow.
This lazy girl took it as a sign to light a fire, bake some muffins and stay home.
I am glad that Erin took it as a sign to get out there with her camera.
Because as usual her photographs are pure magic.

I wanted to do a little bragging on this beautiful woman who models my women's clothing. If I looked this good I would probably sit home all day and look in the mirror but Brooke is a teacher by day a model on weekends...
and somehow finds the time to be a world class photographer... Yes she took these beautiful photos of someone else that should just sit in front of a mirror all day.
