My Sophie turned 15 and her sweet friends threw her a surprise party. They dressed up in fun vintage outfits and Scott captured it on film.  I love this one will all of them in a row.

Chattanooga Fashion Week

Yesterday was such a treat with our Fall line featured in the Chattanooga Fashion Week.  My oldest offered to drive down with me and we got to enjoy the sunshine,

and a food stop... (even though it is only a two hour drive)

The models backstage were beautiful and sweet.

How fun is this!  (I fit right in ...well not exactly)

A nice drive home and a few hours with my oldest before he heads off to college on Saturday.

I am beyond ready for the weekend.  I hope that you all have a wonderful one too!

good bye summer

Six of my seven children are in school as I type. (This marks the end of summer in my book.)  I get so excited at the beginning of each new season.  (New weather, new recipes to cook, new things to explore and of course new clothes and accessories!)  Our fall line has arrived and I am looking forward to cleaning out my closet and adding some fall treasures.

dinner

As you can tell by my lack of posts, this Summer has been a sweet but busy time.  Something had to go and this summer it was cooking.  But I do still love to sit down as a family and enjoy our meal (even if it is fried eggs on crusty wheat bread with Parmesan cheese....one of my favorites or Chicken-pot-pie from Whole Foods).
