A few hours later I take 5 of these out of the oven. Covered with butter and a little jam it is one of my favorite things to eat.

I love to make whole wheat bread. This is what the wheat berries look like before I grind them into flour.

Yours is the 2nd blog I have visited in as many days where there has been bread baking going on. I tell you, I can almost smell it !!!
I'm going to have to give it a try. I used to bake french bread a lot but quit for some reason ???

Making bread (along w/canning) is on my list of things I want to try to do!! Love that you do that - your kids will always have fond memories of making/eating homemade bread! Great pictures!
This takes me back. My Mom used to make home made bread- it's the best!!!! I'm going to have to give this a try- my kids would love it!!

Where on earth do you find the time to do all that? It reminds me of my grandmother - her homemade bread is still the best I've had by far.
